DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A woman was killed Monday night after the car she was riding in was hit by a DART train in south Dallas.
It happened when a “Green Line” train hit the car at Pine Street near South Scyene Road.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital and that person’s condition is not known.
Police are still investigating the circumstances that lead to the crash and DART has resumed normal operations on the “Green Line.”
Although the circumstances of this crash are not clear.
DART officials said people should never try to beat a train.
