Trophy Club (WBAP/KLIF) – The body of a 38 year old man who disappeared Monday while fishing with his two year old son has been found. Matthew Meinert disappeared on the far west end of Grapevine Lake. His son was found wandering in the area Tuesday morning, but was unable to tell rescuers what had happened to his father. There was no sign of Meinert until his body was found Friday evening, trapped in the dense brush and rubble left in Denton Creek by the floods of two years ago, and not far from the area where his boat had been beached. An autopsy will determine the cause and manner of Meinert’s death.
