Grapevine (WBAP/KLIF News) – Kubota Tractors has moved its North American Headquarters from Torrance, California to Grapevine.
At the ribbon cutting Friday, Governor Greg Abbott joined Mayor William D. Tate and executives from Kubota.
“Our community, like Kubota, was founded by ag pioneers who came from humble beginnings, worked hard, developed their researchers and who have earned their recognition and success,” Tate said.
Kubota’s headquarters includes a 125,000 square foot office building and 68,000 square foot research and development facility.
Kubota says the project cost $51 million and will bring 340 jobs.
“This represents a unique fit for our community’s agricultural heritage and our future innovative opportunities as well as our strategic location,” Tate said.
