DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The city of Dallas has a new Mayor Pro Tem.
Dallas City Council District 3 Representative, Casey Thomas takes over the title. Thomas was elected to the position by other members of the council at during a briefing Wednesday. He replaces former Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway who resigned before pleading guilty to federal corruption charges.
A special election will be held in November to fill Caraway’s District 4 seat.
