A political town hall will be held tonight in Cowtown. CNN is hosting a live televised town hall featuring Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico. The event will air at 7 o’clock Central from Fort Worth. Talarico is challenging Texas Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton in the race to replace longtime Senator John Cornyn.
The primetime event, moderated by CNN anchor Erin Burnett, comes as Talarico shows a slight lead in the polls. Organizers say Paxton was invited to attend tonight’s town hall, but hasn’t confirmed that he’ll be there.
