Dallas Police Sergeant Accused of Stealing Duty Firearms

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A Dallas Police Department Sergeant has turned himself in after several warrants were issued involving alleged theft.

The department launched an investigation a year and a half ago in October of 2022 involving allegations of criminal misconduct of Sergeant Thomas Fry of Detention Services.

The investigation found for nearly a year Fry allegedly stole three duty firearms from the Southeast Patrol Division. Warrants were issued for theft of a firearm.

He turned himself into Mesquite Police this week.
