FORT WORTH – (WBAP/KLIF) – The Tarrant County Appraisal District is working with the FBI, following reports it’s website is the victim of a cyber-attack.
An initial website issue was followed by another last Thursday. The website has since been restored online, but email and phone services are still reported down. It remains unclear when full access will be restored.
The first site crash was blamed on a database failure; another of the new website last Thursday was left unexplained until now.
Tarrant County Appraisal District has not reported or discussed whether data was stolen from its website.
