Perot Museum to Distribute Eclipse Safety Glasses

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is making it its mission to distribute as many eclipse safety glasses as they can.

The once-in-a-lifetime eclipse is set to happen on Monday, April 8th. And representatives with the Perot Museum say they’re giving out more than one million complimentary eclipse safety glasses to over 50 schools and school districts across the region. This includes Dallas ISD, Fort Worth ISD and Arlington ISD to name a few.

They will also distribute eclipse glasses at dozens of community events across North Texas as well as at the museum from March 9th through 17th with admission.

Looking at the eclipse without these glasses can cause permanent damage to the retina.
