DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – An Excessive Heat Warning is issued through 9 p.m. Friday for North and Central Texas.
The National Weather Service says that dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 109 will be felt, and heat index values up to 111.
According to NWS, extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
