OXNARD (WBAP/KLIF) – As training camp opens in Oxnard, California, Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Mike McCarthy says the team is poised to make a deep playoff run this season.
“We all think so,” McCarthy said. “I feel really good about where we are. But at the end of the day this is a process. Training camp is very important.”
Training camp in Oxnard wraps up on Tuesday, August 15, before the cowboys depart for their preseason match- up in Seattle on August 19.
Coach McCarthy, Owner Jerry Jones, and Executive VP Stephen Jones addressed the media on Tuesday during the annual state of the team address.
The Cowboys’ first practice is slated for Wednesday.
