NTX School District Chief Busted in Online Child Sex Sting Along with 6 Others

Itasca, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A North Texas school superintendent was arrested [Thursday] on accusations of online solicitation of a minor for sex.

47-year old Itasca ISD Superintendent Michael Stephens was among 7 people arrested an undercover online child sex sting operation.

Stephens’ has held high-profile positions in school districts across Texas, including Mesquite.

Among the others arrested was a FedEx driver; all of the suspects, according to Constable Rosen were online looking for children. All are jailed in Harris County for online solicitation of a minor.

The investigation involved multiple law enforcement agencies across Texas including the Department of Public Safety.

The Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office is asking anyone with information about the anything related to the sting operation to call Constable Rosen’s office at 713-755-7571.
