Adrian Devine Smith in Fort Worth Mayor’s Race

(WBAP/KLIF) — Texans head to the polls on Monday, April 24th, to cast their votes for candidates for mayor, city council, and other ballot measures during the Municipal Election. The next mayor of Fort Worth could be decided in a little over two weeks, barring a June run-off election.

Adrian Devine Smith – Fort Worth Mayor Candidate 2023

Incumbent Mayor Mattie Parker will be joined on the ballot by four challengers, including veteran Adrian Devine smith, who has developed a plan if elected, including community-police relations, city spending, tax rates, and infrastructure. Smith says his main motivation to run centers around service, while he vows to be accessible as mayor in order to address any concerns. The veteran encourages residents to head to the polls for the May 6th Municipal Election.

Also on the ballot for Fort Worth mayor are Jennifer Castillo, Alyson Kennedy, and Kenneth Bowens, Jr.
