Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – The chance for severe weather intensifies this afternoon. The main event still appears to be a linear complex of storms along the rapidly advancing front. Damaging wind gusts, tornadoes, and large hail are all possible hazards tomorrow afternoon and evening. This line of storms will push east, impacting East Texas during the evening hours when the greatest threat for severe weather will occur. Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Some of the storms could be severe. High near 79. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Some of the storms could be severe. Low around 45. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 15 to 25 mph becoming west northwest after midnight.
