DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall brought a message of courage to educators at Thursday’s Momentous Institute’s “Changing the Odds” Conference at the Omni Dallas.
The event marked the 10th annual and was sold out. Educators from across DFW listened to Marshall’s message amid continued challenges in the industry.
“Sometimes people are forced to be quiet or people want them to get in a corner somewhere,” Marshall told WBAP’s Clayton Neville. “If we’re going to change the world i the way that we need to change it where every voice matters, and everyone belongs, we have to have the courage to speak up.”
The conference is geared toward school administrators, teachers, mental health professionals and community decision makers. The goal is to educate, inspire, and explore the word “courage” as these changemakers try to meet the needs of our communities and children.
