Heat Advisory Issued for parts of North Texas

DFW (WBAP/KLIF)- The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for several north Texas Counties including Tarrant, Collin, Denton and Dallas Counties.

The Advisory goes into effect at noon Saturday, June 11th and goes through 7 pm Sunday, June 12th. Heat index values are expected to be between 105 and 110 degrees.

Hot temperatures and high humidity will increase the risk of heat-related illnesses to occur, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
