Ukrainians Concerned but Confident as Russia Invades

COLONY (WBAP/KLIF) – Dozens of Ukrainians and their American neighbors joined together in prayer and protest Sunday afternoon in The Colony.

Some of the attendees were natives to Ukraine, while others were North Texans who wanted to voice and show support for their friends.

Following a service at St. Sophia Ukrainian Catholic church, supporters held a rally outside the Colleyville library to raise awareness to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

This North Texas girl is scared for her grandparents and cousins in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Society of Texas, and other local groups, are working to establish connections with refugee services. They are also organizing care packages with medicine to send to friends and family in Ukraine.
