Texas Man Allegedly Threatened Georgia Government Officials

Austin (WBAP/KLIF) – A Texas man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill government officials in Georgia. 54 year old Chad Stark of Leander is charged with communicating interstate threats on Craigslist following the 2020 election. Federal prosecutors did not identify which Georgia officials Stark allegedly threatened. They did say he could be sentenced to five years in prison if he’s convicted. Stark’s arrest is the first by the Justice Department’s new Election Threats Task Force.
