DENTON COUNTY (WBAP/KLIF) – An officer involved shooting in Denton county is being investigated by the Texas Rangers.

The Denton County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that deputies responded to a disturbance call on Chisum Road in the northeastern part of the county when they were approached by 35-year-old Gregory Goodall, armed with two knives.

Authorities said Goodall ignored Police commands and was shot by responding deputies. He later died at a local hospital.
