CROWLEY (WBAP/KLIF) A teacher at the Crowley Ninth Grade Campus has been put on administrative leave as the district investigates allegations of use of excessive force on a student.
Due to the investigation, the district said on Wednesday that it cannot release the teacher’s name or the student’s name.
“The incident occurred in a classroom and was recorded by other students and posted on social media,” the district said in a statement. “The video is disturbing and unacceptable. The improper actions taken by the teacher do not align with Crowley ISD’s expectations for our educators, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.”
The video was posted on Twitter by the group FunkyTownFridge.

.This is how Black students @CrowleyISD are treated and policed. Especially when they don’t show their ID to get into class. Huh?
