(WBAP/KLIF) — A Texas department of public safety special agent was shot in haslet, Friday afternoon.
According to officials, the shooting of the trooper occurred in the 14000 block of Mainstay Way around 2:30 PM, Friday. Police say the agent encountered a suspect at a home when he was shot and wounded. The special agent was taken to a Fort Worth hospital in serious condition.
Medstar officials say the agent is expected to be ok. According to WFAA TV police have arrested the suspect and the Texas Rangers are investigating the incident.
