Hackberry (WBAP/KLIF) – Police are looking for a 25 year old resident of Richardson who apparently shot up his girlfriend’s car Thursday afternoon in the community of Hackberry, a little east of Lewisville Lake. Witnesses identified Demetrius Davis as the man who fired at least 8 shots through the passenger’s side rear door of the car, hitting his girlfriend’s two year old daughter in the leg. She was rushed to a hospital where she is expected to recover. The girl’s mother told police she had a fight with Davis earlier in the day.
