Dallas Funeral Home is Helping People Get FEMA Financial Assistance for Covid-19 Related Funerals

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- The Hughes Family Tribute Center will offer a free workshop open to the public on Tuesday, April 20 to assist applicants for FEMA’s Covid-19 financial assistance for funeral related expenses. In March, FEMA announced it would start providing financial assistance for COVID-19 related funeral expenses that have occurred after January 20, 2020 under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021.

“We are offering this workshop for free to anyone who needs help applying to FEMA for the Covid-19 financial assistance for funeral related expenses,” said Stephanie Hughes, co-owner of Hughes Family Tribute Center. “The funeral can have been at any funeral home. We only want to help as a community service.”
