Garland to Host Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Event Tuesday

GARLAND  (WBAP/KLIF News) – The City of Garland Health Department is hosting a mass COVID-19 vaccination event Tuesday, April 13th, at Johnson Stadium at 1029 E. Centerville Road from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

The single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be administered as long as supplies last and no appointment is necessary.

City officials are asking recipients to print a vaccine registration form from the Vaccine Information webpage and bring the form with them to the site.

The city is reminding those who are due for their second Moderna dose that they will be notified about their next scheduled appointment.

Anyone 60 and older can get vaccinated at the Garland Public Health Clinic at 206 Carver Drive without an appointment.

The center is accepting walk-ins Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Garland Health Department is providing alternative arrangements to anyone who is medically unable to come to the clinic or a mass vaccination event.
