Dallas County Reporting Highest Number of Weekly Cases Since Pandemic Began

11(WBAP/KLIF) DALLAS— The Dallas County Health Department reports the weekly infection rate in Dallas County is now its highest since the Coronavirus pandemic began with nearly 1,400 new cases per day.

For the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, 1,100 new COVID-19 cases per day we reported comprising Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Dallas County judge Clay Jenkins says that now is the time for patriotism by wearing a mask, avoiding crowds and forgoing get togethers’.
Meanwhile on Sunday, Dallas mayor Eric Johnson’s office on Sunday reported that 67 percent of hospital beds are occupied throughout the cities 25 hospitals. That figure represents a decline of almost ten percent from just ten days ago.
