Fort Worth Businesses Can Pick up Free Masks Downtown November 23-25

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- Fort Worth businesses are eligible for up to 250 free masks each.

Visit Fort Worth, The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and Fort Worth Now are working together to distribute free masks to Fort Worth businesses just in time for the busy holiday season.

“We want to make sure everyone has a chance to enforce their restrictions, give customers and employees masks and stay as safe as possible,” said Mitch Whitten Executive Vice President for Marketing & Strategy for Visit Fort Worth.

Masks can be picked up at the Visit Center 508 Main St., just south of Sundance Square in Downtown Fort Worth.

Pick up is available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 23-25 daily while supplies last. Distribution is first-come, first-served. You must present a business card at the time of pick up. Advanced registration is not required.

“One of the reason we are distributing for 3 days this week is because we have the National Finals Rodeo coming to Fort Worth and Arlington beginning December 3rd. A lot of businesses are anticipating an increase in visitors and we want to make sure they have enough masks to support a safe and healthy atmosphere,” said Whitten.

Whitten said in just the first day, they helped over 100 businesses and distributed over 15,000 masks
