One Killed In Southeast Texas Bar Fight

Montgomery (AP) – One man is dead, a suspect is at large following a fatal shooting at a southeastern Texas bar. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to Shanahan’s Bar in Montgomery, some 45 miles north of Houston, a little after midnight Saturday. They found 25 year old Roland “Cody” Hutton of La Porte fatally wounded in the bar’s parking lot. He died shortly after he was taken to a hospital. Deputy Steve Squier said in a news release the suspect, who was not identified, was last seen driving out of the parking lot in a pickup truck.
