MCKINNEY (WBAP/KLIF) – Time is running out to register to vote in November’s Presidential election.

Believe it or not, early voting is just weeks away. Next Monday, October 5, is the last day to register to vote in the November 3 election.

“We have seen a definite increase in the number of people registering to vote,” said Collin County Election Administrator Bruce Sherbet. “We have about 100,000 more registered voters for this election than we did four years ago, and that’s a lot.”

Sherbet said his office continues to see people come in to register to vote each day.

Registration forms can be found online or inside any local election office. The forms must be postmarked by October 5 to be accepted. Early voting begins October 13.

President Trump and Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden will take the stage in their first debate Tuesday night from Cleveland.
