FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – MedStar is offering North Texas businesses, organizations and groups mobile flu vaccine clinics for the upcoming flu season.
The Tarrant County ambulance service said between September 2019 and February 2020, crews treated 1,033 patients for flu-like illnesses. That number is a 21.5% increase from the previous year.
MedStar are among numerous health agencies and officials who are concerned about this year’s flu season due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to prevent massive flu outbreak, MedStar will perform flu vaccine clinics again for 10 or more people at places of convenience for patrons.
Vaccines are $30 each and MedStar can bill the organizer based on a roster provided by the client or individuals can pay for the vaccines by providing documentation on-site for insurance reimbursement.
Payments can be made by cash, debit/credit car or Apple Pay.
