DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) — Some Texas homeowners are starting to fall behind on their mortgage payments as the COVID-19 Pandemic continues.
Across the Metroplex 8% of residents have missed at least one mortgage payment, according to a report by CoreLogic.
Nationwide just over 7% of homeowners missed at least one loan payment. Of the big cities in Texas, Houston had the highest percentage of homeowners who have fallen behind on payments with 10%.
Although there has been a spike in deferred mortgage payments, foreclosures have not increased.
