ASSOCIATED PRESS – AUSTIN – Supporters of President Trump gathered on Lake Travis for a support parade Saturday, but trouble for the boaters began almost as soon as the boats were in the water. Hundreds of boats took part, or tried too. Several are reported to have completely sunk.
Reports of several boats in distress had the Travis County Sheriff’s Department launching emergency responses through out four sites along the water parade route. Texas Parks and Wildlife also helped providing a boat.
Boat parades in support of President Trump have taken place in several states, including some in California and Florida
