Police Report Missing Kaufman County Mother, Two Young Children Found Dead in Car in Farmers Branch

FARMERS BRANCH (WBAP/KLIF)- Farmers Branch Police are Investigating after they say a mother and her two young daughters were found dead inside a car.

Farmers Branch Officer Steve Rutherford said The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department reported 31-year-old Natalie Chambers and her daughters 4-year-old Izabel and 2-year-old Elise missing after they left their Forney home for a play date in Grapevine and never returned.

Rutherford said the Kaufman County Sheriffs Department asked them to check a vehicle off LBJ and Midway Thursday morning, where deputies found their bodies.

“Anytime there’s a loss of life it’s very tragic, especially when children are involved…that’s something tough for officers to deal with and it’s not something that anyone has to deal with on a normal basis,” he said.

Rutherford said the cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office and is under investigation.

He urges anyone with information on their disappearance or death to contact the Farmers Branch Police Department immediately.

They were last seen in a blue 2008 Ford Escape with Texas license plate number KZR9118.
