(WBAP/KLIF) — The unemployment rate dropped 13% over the last month as almost 5-million new U.S. jobs were generated. SMU economics professor Bud Weinstein says that although the numbers look good, the economy isn’t out of the woods yet.
Weinstein believes that the re-instituted restriction on restaurants and bars will again have a negative effect on next month’s job report. Coupled with unemployment numbers, the positive movement on the employment front is an overall increase of 3.4 million jobs.
The total number of Americans receiving jobless aid remains at 19-million.
