IRVING (WBAP/KLIF) – An Amber Alert has been issued at the request of the Irving Police Department.
Irving police are looking for Serenity Berry, a 7-month-old black baby girl. Serenity was last seen wearing a white onesie when she was taken from the 2900 block W. Pioneer by her mother, Jocelyn Nicole Bridges, according to police. Bridges is a 35-year old woman. “We believe Serenity is in grave danger because of the mental health of her mother, who has threatened suicide and also talked about and threated Serenity herself,” said Officer Robert Reeves with the Irving Police Department.
Reeves says Bridges’ 2011 Blue Ford Focus Texas license plate: MGP8642 was found abandoned in a Dallas business parking lot off North Stemmons Freeway Monday morning. There’s been no sign of her, or Serenity.
Bridges was last seen wearing a multi-color shirt with blue jean leggings. Jocelyn’s hair color is black with brown highlights, and she is currently wearing it braided.
If you have any information on where they may be, Irving Police are urging you to contact them.
