Family of 6 dies in San Antonio

San Antonio (AP) – Authorities in San Antonio say they found a family of six, including four children, dead in the back of an SUV in a garage. The children were between the ages of 11 months and 4 years old. San Antonio Police Chief William McManus says officers had gone to the house to make a welfare check when the man didn’t check-in for work. McManus says officers got a strong whiff of auto exhaust upon entering the home. He hasn’t said exactly what happened, other than a comment that they have evidence “it was not an accident.” He did not suggest anyone outside the family was involved.
