BOWIE, TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Volunteers have been pouring into the small town of Bowie just three days after a EF1 tornado brought destruction to businesses and homes.

Even on a rainy memorial day weekend multiple volunteers and ministries brought food, supplies and simple conversation to the small town.

“We’re going door to door and everywhere handing out food and drinks to everybody out here and just telling them to come out and eat dinner tonight,” said Counting Every Blessing Ministry President James Tatum, “Sometime just having somebody to talk to somebody to listen to you know you gotta listen them that’s a big help,”

The clean up is moving but moving slow according to Tatum.
