Dallas City Hospital Beds Filling Up

(WBAP/KLIF) — Dallas reports just under two-thirds of available hospital beds in the city are in use.  25 hospitals provided totals to Mayor Eric Johnson’s office as required by emergency disaster regulations.

The mayor’s office released the numbers, Sunday night:

Total beds: 6,049   –   Beds occupied: 3,814
Total ICU beds: 885   –   ICU beds occupied: 624
Total ventilators: 984   –   Ventilators in use: 338

The respirator situation appears favorable in Dallas, as just over a third of the nearly 1-thousand machines are being utilized.
