TSA to increase airport security checks

Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – The Transportation Security Administration, or TSA, which checks passengers and luggage at airports unveiled some new security rules Thursday, but the Acting Secretary of Homeland Security indicated more may be coming. Chad Wolf told reporters while inspecting security at Fort Worth’s Alliance Airport, TSA may start checking temperatures and running thermal image scans of passengers to help keep the COVID-19 virus out of commercial airliners. Wolf did not say when that might happen. The Secretary inspects security at DFW Airport Friday.
