(WBAP/KLIF) — More than a quarter of the COVID-19 cases in Texas are in the Metroplex. As coronavirus testing ramps up across North Texas, more confirmed cases of the virus are being reported.
More than 320 newly infected residents were confirmed in the DFW area. The Lone Star State has nearly 32,000 cases of Coronavirus, with over 8,300 reported in the Metroplex.
Dallas County’s total reached over 4,100, Sunday, Tarrant County reported nearly 2,600, while Denton and Collin counties are each hovering around 800 cases.
The DFW area has reported 230 deaths due to covid-19, 27% of the statewide total of nearly 870. Dallas County is reporting 111, Tarrant County 75, and Collin & Denton counties each reporting 22.
