(NORTH RICHLAND HILLS) – WBAP/KLIF – An arrest has been made in connection with an early morning break-in and murder of North Richland Hills resident, 66 year old Peggy Franklin.
Authorities say 17 year old Roel Jose Cano Jr. has been charged with Capital Murder and Burglary of a Habitation With Intent to Commit a Felony. Bond has been set at $1,753,00 on all the charges.
Police say they found Franklin dead from gunshot wounds on April 24th in her apartment in the 2200 block of Willowcrest Drive on April 24. Police say another woman inside that home was injured, and two children were found in the residence as well. Neither child had been harmed.
