McKinney Mayor Sued For Quarantine Declaration

(WBAP/KLIF) COLLIN COUNTY, TX —  Mckinney City Mayor George Fuller is taking heat for implementing a stay-at-home order for residents.  Real estate agent Derek Baker filed a lawsuit against the mayor for imposing business restrictions that were stricter than Collin County’s shelter-in-place order.

Fuller says he respects Collin county for more lax restrictions than neighboring counties, but doesn’t agree that’s the best way to protect residents from Coronavirus.

A Collin County district judge will decide Monday whether or not Mckinney’s order will stand. The Fort Worth Star Telegram says if the court strikes down his order, he will promptly issue another one.
