Southwest Airlines Cancels A Thousand Flights

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas based Southwest Airlines has cancelled a thousand flights because of the coronavirus.  In a memo to employees, viewed by the Dallas Business Journal, the company said it will continue to cancel flights until a previously revised schedule kicks in on April 14th.  That schedule will reduce capacity by 20% until June 5th. The airline won’t say which flights will be cancelled.  Customers are being told to check their flight’s status on the company’s website.
