Missing Garland Woman Identified as Murdered Victim Found in Irving Dumpster

IRVING (WBAP/KLIF)- Irving Police are investigating after they found the body of a missing 22-year-old from Garland in a dumpster Monday. The woman was identified as Jessica Hernandez. Irving Police Officer Robert Reeves says she went missing January 26th. Police say she was last seen on surveillance camera getting into a taxi cab. Investigators have not revealed details of her death and no suspects have been named. “It’s very early in the investigation so that’s going to be something that’s worked on with Irving and Garland investigators to see if we can locate the cause of what happened,” said Reeves. “We have ruled out self infliction and are working on a murder investigation,” he said. The body was found in a trash bin enclosure near the Irving Mall off Belt Line Road, North of Highway 183.
