FORT WORTH – WBAP/KLIF – Ethan Couch, the so called “Affluenza teen” with a history of legal troubles following his DUI driving conviction in the deaths of 4 people and injuries to 9 additional people, was taken back to the Tarrant County jail Thursday after reportedly violating probation. Tarrant County Sheriff spokesman David McClelland says now 22 year old Couch violated probation by testing positive for the active ingredient in marijuana
Couch was convicted of driving under the influence when he was age 16 in 2013; he slammed into a group of people who had stopped to help a disabled driver. He and mother Tonya fled to Mexico and were extradited back to Fort Worth. He was released on probation after two years in jail.
