DALLAS – WBAP/KLIF – The city of Dallas revives a big New Year’s Eve downtown event with 15 thousand pounds of fireworks scheduled to explode at Reunion Tower. Dallas Area Rapid Transit is again working with Coors Light, in offering people free rides on any DART transportation mode. Dart spokesman Mark Ball says the free rides will run from 6pm on New Year’s Eve through about 2 am New Year’s Day,. about the time DART’s transportation ends for the day.
Coors Light picks a handful of American cities every New year to fund and ooffer public transportation at no cost.
The event at Reunion Tower is the only venue in North Texas offering 360-degree, panoramic view of the fireworks. The blasts begin at 11:59 pm CDT New Year’s Eve.
