FORT WORTH – WBAP/KLIF – North Texas will see increasing cloud cover on Friday as another cold front readies to blow into the region. Temperatures will continue to reach highs at or near 70F through Friday; then Friday evening a 50% chance of rain takes hold, growing to an estimated 80% chance of showers and or storms through much of Saturday; perhaps into Saturday night.
Frigid temperatures are not a hallmark of this particular cold front: temperature highs on Friday will remain in the upper 60s; we’ll see or feel the difference on Saturday, with high temperatures estimated to hit lower to mid 50s, and a Saturday night temperature closer to freezing again by Sunday night. Saturday night lows should be closer to 40.
