ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – It is not believed the weekend fire at Globe Life Field will cause any delay in construction leading to the spring opening of the new home of the Texas Rangers.
Arlington Fire Lieutenant Mike Joiner says they were able to put the fire out within a half hour.
“We had some help from some of the onsite representatives,” Joiner said. “They knew a lot about the accessibility and where this was and helped with the evacuation.”
Manhattan Construction Company, building the facility, said Monday they do not anticipate any delays.
