Cook Children’s Adds New West Fort Worth Pediatric Center

FORT WORTH – Cook Children’s Health Care System has opened a new pediatric and urgent care clinic in west Fort Worth, near the WALSH development.  The 40-thousand square foot facility includes orthopedics and sports medicine clinics.   Plans offer telemedicine services, so patients can be seen by a physician via a private video conference online.

It’s hoped the new center will also help ease the burden of as many as 400 patients seen daily for urgent care needs.  The group says same day appointments will be available to evaluate injuries and receive treatment, including x rays, casting, orthotics, phusical therapy, and return to sport testing Monday through Friday.
