GREENVILLE- WBAP/KLIF – Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks expresses frustration telling reporters officers are getting little cooperation from scores of interviewed witnesses to a shooting at a packed homecoming party at a venue on State Highway 380 in Greenville last night. Two men are dead, 10 additional victims are hospitalized with gunshot wounds and another two are treated for wounds sustained in the chaos brought on by the shooting around midnight Saturday evening.
Meeks says officers are searching for an armed suspect only known as a male. The shooting happened at a homecoming celebration in a packed venue near Texas A and M University-Commerce.
Texas Rangers are assisting with the investigation and search.
