ASSOCIATED PRESS – WBAP/KLIF – A lawsuit filed by a Southwest Airlines flight attendant alleges pilots aboard a 2017 Pittsburgh to Phoenix flight were watching secret camera video of passengers using the plane’s restroom.
Renee Steinaker asserts she saw some of the video when she entered the cockpit as the pilot himself used the restroom. She claims the co pilot told her was a new security measure.
Southwest has no detailed comment, but denies placing cameras in aircraft restrooms.
The lawsuit was filed in 2018, but announced only Saturday October 26 of 2019. Attorney are representing Steinaker and her husband, also a Southwest Airlines flight attendant.
