Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Police say Dallas-area pro-boxer Errol Spence Jr. was hurt after being ejected from his pricey Ferrari overnight.
Police say Spence was driving at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a light pole on Riverfront Blvd in downtown Dallas, flipping the car around 3am .
The IBF welterweight champ is being treated for serious injuries at Methodist hospital, but is expected to survive.
Spence is only the 3rd boxer ever from Dallas County to hold a world title.
He was born in Long Island and moved with his family to the Cedar Hill/DeSoto area when he was two.
There were no passengers in the vehicle.
